Does Park City count as a Wichita Wednesday feature? In my mind, it does. It’s close enough!
I found this place by necessity. My son was playing baseball in Park City, and I was heading to his game from work. I wanted to find something quick to eat, but I DO.NOT.LIKE. fast food. (2 exceptions – Freddy’s and Chick Fil A). So I did a little research before heading to the baseball game and found Goyo’s. It was right on the way to the game, so I headed that way.
They had so many options to choose from! I stuck with the traditional staple of street tacos. To me, it seems hard to mess up a street taco. And it also lets you do a side-by-side comparison of different restaurant’s street tacos.
They also had a taco special going on, so I got four street tacos for $5.99. FYI – for Taco Tuesday, you can get street tacos for a dollar! I opted for carnitas meat and carne asada. Of course, it comes with the traditional chopped onions and cilantro. You can also get both green and red sauce. Green=good and tangy. Red=HOT. The tacos (and sauce) were soo good!
I’m excited to make it back to Goyo’s to try some of their other offerings. They have tamales, enchiladas, and a burrito Colorado. Yum!
If on the north side of Wichita, you should check out Goyo’s. It’s right at 53rd and Broadway. They don’t have a website, but you can check them out on Facebook. Also – they have a drive through if you don’t feel like going inside. Just pay attention to the direction-I may or may not have driven through the drive-thru the wrong way while looking for a parking spot! Oops. It was all good, though, they still served me!
Check out Goyo’s.
