Earlier this month, I read that Wichita would not be carrying McDonald’s famed shamrock shakes. To me, that is a tragedy. I don’t like McDonald’s for much, but there are two exceptions. French fries and shamrock shakes. But a shamrock shake was not in the cards this year.
So, I thought to myself, “Self, you own an ice cream shop. You can make your own shamrock shake.” So, that’s what I set off to do. And it turned out creamy, delicious, and so fun! And now we’re serving our version of the Shamrock shake all month long. Try one at home – these will make your kids (and the kid in you) happy!
